About Us
Montana Kids
Overview
Montana Kids provides a unique family-style setting in which children of different ages work and play together within the same classroom. We strive for consistency and continuity of care; thus, infants ages 0 - 23 months and toddlers ages 2-4 are kept in the same classroom with the same caregivers until they transition to the older age group. If a child turns 4 during the school year (before September) they then qualify to transition to our preschool facility at the beginning of the new school year in the fall. To create an environment that is as close to the 'home' environment as possible, we try to place siblings in the same classroom unless a parent or guardian specifically requests otherwise.

We provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for every child that attends as well as diapers and wipes for the children who need them. These costs are included in the tuition. Our rates vary depending on number of days in attendance as well as discounts for children who are picked up by 12:30 pm or 4:00 pm. For more information on our rates please email us and write "Fee Schedule Request" in the subject line.

Our main building has five classrooms, each of which has two full-time caregivers. We also have a full kitchen where all of our delicious homemade meals are prepared. For a sample menu please see our food program page.

Our preschool program is housed in our second building, 'Montana Kids Too', with enrollment space for up to twenty children. We also offer a summer program for school-aged children when space permits.

Montana Kids does accept students on the 'Best Beginnings Scholarship'. This is a financial aid program for families that may have difficulty covering the cost of daycare. For more information and to see if you would qualify, please visit the Child Care Connections website.
"Tell me and I'll forget;
Show me and I may remember;
Involve me and I'll understand."
-Chinese proverb
"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.  This is to have succeeded!"
