Food Program
Montana Kids follows the guidelines in the CACFP https://dphhs.mt.gov/ecfsd/childcare/cacfp/About/index Montana state program designed to assist child care providers in developing and sustaining nutritious meal plans. We offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for those children who eat table food. Each meal is carefully prepared to ensure adequate amounts of protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables and milk is served at every meal. We also provide homemade baby food for infants.

We operate a six-week rotating menu featuring fresh, homemade food, as we strongly believe that providing healthy and nutritious meals is an integral component of caring for your child. Please see the following table for a sample week of meals. A variety of fresh and homemade foods of all kinds are provided, even non-traditional foods like quinoa!  Here is a sample of what our menu might look like for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack:
